Stories. TikTok Stories disappear after 24 hours and use the same full-screen 9:16 frame. Keep text out of the bottom quarter, where the caption and reply bar sit.

From normal photos. A 3:4 phone photo is shorter than 9:16, so either a strip is cropped from the sides or the photo gets bands top and bottom. Drag the preview to choose, or tick the fit option.
