Resize Image to 1100×1100
1100×1100 is a safe square for online shops: it clears the 1000-pixel minimum that marketplaces such as Amazon use to enable zoom, with a little margin to spare. Everything runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded. Need a smaller file instead? Compress or convert.
Drag the preview to choose which part of the image is kept. The same framing is used for every image in the batch.
Why choose 1100×1100?
At 1100×1100 pixels, an image holds 1.21 megapixels in a square (1:1). It is a common choice for social posts and product photos.
1:1 square shape
The square (1:1) proportion decides how your photo is framed: plan the subject around that shape before you crop.
Where it is used
1100×1100 suits social posts and product photos. Using the exact size avoids a website scaling or cropping your image on its own.
Prints 3.67×3.67 in at 300 DPI
That is 9.3×9.3 cm at photo quality, or 7.3×7.3 in at 150 DPI for posters viewed from a distance.
About 190 KB–380 KB as JPG
A typical photo at 1100×1100 saves to roughly 190 KB–380 KB at good JPG quality; WebP is usually 25–35% smaller.
Sharp results
A 12 MP phone photo has 10× more pixels than 1100×1100, so resizing down keeps it sharp.
Framing control
Filling 1100×1100 from a 4:3 phone photo trims about 25% of it. Drag the preview to choose what stays, or tick “Keep aspect ratio” to keep it all.

Why 1100 and not exactly 1000
Zoom needs 1000 pixels. Amazon turns on hover zoom only when the longest side of a product image is at least 1000 pixels. Uploading 1100 leaves room for a platform's own trimming or padding without dropping below that line.
Fill the frame. Marketplace rules generally want the product to cover about 85% of the image. Crop tight with the cropper before resizing so the square isn't mostly background.
Keep files light. An 1100-pixel JPG at good quality is typically 150–300 KB. If a shop sets a lower limit, run it through 250 KB afterwards.

Frequently asked questions
Is 1100×1100 good for Amazon product images?
Yes. Amazon needs at least 1000 pixels on the longest side for zoom, so 1100 qualifies. Larger images such as 1500 or 2000 pixels give an even closer zoom.
What aspect ratio is 1100×1100?
1100×1100 has a square (1:1) aspect ratio. Any size with the same ratio — for example 1080×1080, 1024×1024 — can be scaled to it without cropping.
How big will a 1100×1100 image print?
At 300 DPI (photo quality) 1100×1100 prints at 3.67×3.67 inches (9.3×9.3 cm). At 150 DPI it covers 7.33×7.33 inches, fine for posters seen from further away.
How large is a 1100×1100 file?
A photo at 1100×1100 is usually 190 KB–380 KB as a JPG, and about 130 KB–260 KB as WebP. If you need it smaller, run it through the compressor afterwards.
Will my photo lose quality at 1100×1100?
No — a normal phone photo is much larger, so it is scaled down and stays sharp.
Can I resize to 1100×1100 without cropping?
Yes. Tick “Keep aspect ratio”: the whole picture is kept, but one side may come out shorter than 1100×1100. Without it, the image fills 1100×1100 exactly and the edges that do not fit the 1:1 shape are trimmed.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser. Nothing is transmitted or stored, and you can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
