5×7 prints, cards and invitations
At 300 DPI, 5×7 inches is 1500 × 2100 pixels, a 5:7 shape — a little narrower than a phone photo, so a thin strip comes off the sides.
Invitations and cards usually need a bleed. If the printer asks for 1/8 inch, the full file becomes 5.25×7.25 inches (1575×2175 px); keep text at least 1/4 inch from the edge.
Framing. A 5×7 frame with a mat often shows slightly less than the full print; leave breathing space around faces.
Not to be confused with 5×7 cm, a passport-size photo. Other prints: 4×6, 8×10.
