Working around the profile photo

The lower left is covered. Your round profile photo overlaps the bottom-left part of the banner on computers, and sits lower and more central in the app. Keep that corner free and place text towards the centre-right.

Phones crop the sides. The app shows a slightly different crop, so keep words a generous distance from the left and right edges — roughly the middle two-thirds of the width is safe on every device.

What to put on it. A clean photo of your work, a city skyline, a simple pattern in your brand colours, or a one-line statement of what you do. Avoid long sentences — the banner is small on phones.
