Square prints at 3 inches
At 300 DPI, 3×3 inches is 900 × 900 pixels — the same pixels as a 900×900 image, but with the print size saved inside the file.
Stickers and coasters often need a bleed: extra image beyond the cut line. If your printer asks for 1/8 inch bleed, make the file 3.25×3.25 inches (975×975 px) and keep text well inside.
Mini photo prints. Square crops of phone photos make neat sets for a wall or album; crop them all the same way with the cropper's batch option.
Other squares: 2×2 inch, 8×8 inch (2400 px).

Frequently asked questions

What DPI should a 3×3 inch photo be?
300 DPI is the standard for photo prints and gives 900×900 pixels. Some offices accept 200 DPI (600×600); 600 DPI (1800×1800) is only needed for very high-quality printing.

Usually 130 KB–250 KB as a JPG at 300 DPI. If an online form allows less, reduce it with the compressor — the print size stays the same.

No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser. Nothing is transmitted or stored, and you can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
