Wallpapers for an ultrawide screen
The shape. 3440×1440 is about 2.39:1 — marketed as 21:9. A 16:9 wallpaper stretched to fit looks wrong; one cropped to this exact size looks native.
Source size matters. You need an image at least 3440 pixels wide to avoid softness. Panoramas and wide landscape shots work best; drag the preview up or down to choose the band.
Dual screens? Two 1720-wide halves of this image won't match a real dual-monitor setup — use each monitor's own resolution instead.
Format. High-quality JPG is fine for photos; PNG for digital art with flat colour and gradients.
Other screens: 2560×1440, 1920×1080. Same shape, any size: 21:9.

How big will a 3440×1440 image print?

Will my photo lose quality at 3440×1440?
No — a normal phone photo is much larger, so it is scaled down and stays sharp.
Can I resize to 3440×1440 without cropping?
Yes. Tick “Keep aspect ratio”: the whole picture is kept, but one side may come out shorter than 3440×1440. Without it, the image fills 3440×1440 exactly and the edges that do not fit the 2.39:1 shape are trimmed.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser. Nothing is transmitted or stored, and you can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
