Every Discord image size
These are the Discord image sizes to use in 2026. Each name opens a page with that size already set, plus tips for that spot.
| Image | Size (px) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| PFP / avatar | 512×512 | Shown as a circle; minimum 128×128 |
| Avatar (minimum, bots) | 128×128 | Exact small size |
| Profile banner | 600×240 | Nitro |
| Server icon | 512×512 | Shown as a circle |
| Server banner | 960×540 | 16:9, Boost level 2 |
| Invite background | 1920×1080 | 16:9, boosted servers |
| Emoji | 128×128 | PNG/GIF under 256 KB |
| Sticker | 320×320 | PNG/APNG/Lottie under 512 KB |
File limits matter: emoji must be under 256 KB and stickers under 512 KB. The emoji and sticker pages save PNG, which keeps transparency and stays small.

Frequently asked questions
What are the main Discord image sizes?
PFP 512×512 (minimum 128×128), profile banner 600×240, server icon 512×512, server banner 960×540, invite background 1920×1080, emoji 128×128 and stickers 320×320.
What size is a Discord PFP?
Any square from 128×128; 512×512 looks sharp.
Why won’t Discord accept my emoji or sticker?
It is over the file limit or the wrong size. Use the emoji (128×128) or sticker (320×320) page; both save small PNGs.
Do I need Nitro for a banner?
Profile banners need Nitro; server banners need Boost level 2.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser. Nothing is transmitted or stored, and you can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
