Discord Server Banner Resizer
A boosted server can show a banner above its channel list. This page resizes your image to 960×540, the 16:9 minimum Discord asks for. Everything runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded. Need a smaller file instead? Compress or convert.
Drag the preview to choose which part of the image is kept. The same framing is used for every image in the batch.

About 81 KB–160 KB as JPG
A typical photo at 960×540 saves to roughly 81 KB–160 KB at good quality — well within the upload limit.
You choose the crop
Filling 960×540 from a 4:3 phone photo trims about 25% of it. Drag the preview to choose what stays, or tick the fit option to keep everything.

Banners above the channel list
Unlocked by boosts. Server banners become available when the server reaches Boost level 2. The image appears at the top of the channel list for every member.
Mostly the top is seen. The channel list is narrow, so the banner is shown small and fades into the server name. Keep the main subject near the centre and avoid small text.
Bigger is fine. 960×540 is the minimum; 1920×1080 has the same 16:9 shape and looks sharper on high-resolution screens.

Frequently asked questions
What size is a Discord server banner?
At least 960×540 pixels (16:9); 1920×1080 also works. Server banners require Boost level 2.
Why can’t I add a server banner?
Server banners need Boost level 2. Below that, the option is locked.
Can the server banner be animated?
Animated banners need an even higher boost level; still images are the safe choice.
Is this the same as the invite background?
No, the invite splash is a separate 16:9 image at 1920×1080. See the invite background resizer.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser. Nothing is transmitted or stored, and you can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
