Shopify Logo Resizer
Your logo sits in the header of every page of your Shopify store. This page resizes it to 450×250 as a transparent PNG, a size most themes display sharply. Everything runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded. Need a smaller file instead? Compress or convert.
Drag the preview to choose which part of the image is kept. The same framing is used for every image in the batch.
Getting the Shopify logo right
The store logo appears on every page. A transparent PNG with enough pixels looks crisp on any header background.

About 18 KB–35 KB as JPG
A typical photo at 450×250 saves to roughly 18 KB–35 KB at good quality — well within the upload limit.
You choose the crop
Filling 450×250 from a 4:3 phone photo trims about 26% of it. Drag the preview to choose what stays, or tick the fit option to keep everything.

A crisp logo in the header
Themes set the width. Most Shopify themes let you choose the logo’s display width in the theme editor. A 450×250 PNG gives enough pixels to look sharp at common widths, including on high-resolution screens.
Transparent PNG. A transparent background lets the logo sit cleanly on any header colour. This page saves PNG and keeps transparency.
Fit, do not crop. Logos come in many shapes. Tick the fit option so the whole logo is placed in the frame with padding, instead of being cut.

Frequently asked questions
What size should a Shopify logo be?
Around 450×250 pixels as a transparent PNG works with most themes; you set the display width in the theme editor.
Why does my Shopify logo look blurry?
It is smaller than the width your theme displays. Use a larger PNG such as 450×250 or more.
PNG or SVG for Shopify?
Most themes take PNG or JPG for the logo; PNG keeps transparency.
Is the favicon the same as the logo?
No, the favicon is a small square icon. See the favicon resizer.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser. Nothing is transmitted or stored, and you can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
