Getting the LinkedIn company cover right

Company Page covers are a thin 6:1 banner above your company name. The new 1512×256 size replaces the old 1128×191.

The new company cover size

1128×191 is out. For years company Page covers were 1128×191. LinkedIn now lists 1512×256 as the minimum and the recommended size, and the old size is too small. Your old cover keeps the same shape, so resizing it here is all it needs.

A very thin strip. At about 6:1 the cover is narrow, and your company logo overlaps its lower-left part. Use it for a clean brand visual or a short tagline in the centre, not for detailed photos or paragraphs of text.

Light files. LinkedIn accepts JPG or PNG up to 3 MB for company covers. A 1512×256 cover is normally far below that.
