Resize Image to 1300×1300
1300×1300 clears the 1000-pixel threshold many marketplaces use for zoom, with some headroom, while staying far lighter than 2000-pixel files. It is a sensible middle size for product photography. Everything runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded. Need a smaller file instead? Compress or convert.
Drag the preview to choose which part of the image is kept. The same framing is used for every image in the batch.
Why choose 1300×1300?
At 1300×1300 pixels, an image holds 1.69 megapixels in a square (1:1). It is a common choice for social posts and product photos.
1:1 square shape
Every 1300×1300 image has a square (1:1) ratio, so anything you design for it keeps the same proportions on every screen.
Where it is used
1300×1300 suits social posts and product photos. Using the exact size avoids a website scaling or cropping your image on its own.
Prints 4.33×4.33 in at 300 DPI
That is 11×11 cm at photo quality, or 8.7×8.7 in at 150 DPI for posters viewed from a distance.
About 260 KB–530 KB as JPG
A typical photo at 1300×1300 saves to roughly 260 KB–530 KB at good JPG quality; WebP is usually 25–35% smaller.
Sharp results
A 12 MP phone photo has 7.2× more pixels than 1300×1300, so resizing down keeps it sharp.
Framing control
Filling 1300×1300 from a 4:3 phone photo trims about 25% of it. Drag the preview to choose what stays, or tick “Keep aspect ratio” to keep it all.

Why 1300×1300 works for product photos
Zoom with margin to spare. Several marketplaces enable hover-zoom only when the longest side is at least 1000 pixels. Hitting 1000 exactly leaves nothing if the platform trims white space. 1300 gives a buffer.
Retina display of a 650-pixel slot. Many product pages show the main image at around 600–650 CSS pixels. On a 2× screen that needs about 1300 real pixels, so this size looks fully sharp there.
Keep the frame consistent. Place the product at the same scale in every shot, with the same margin. Crop each one with the cropper using the square ratio, then batch resize here.
File size. Expect around 150–350 KB as a good-quality JPG. If your platform caps uploads, use Compress JPG — a product on white compresses very well.
Upscaling warning. If your original is smaller than 1300 pixels, enlarging it will not add detail and can make zoom look worse. Use the largest size your photo genuinely supports.

Frequently asked questions
Will resizing a small photo up to 1300×1300 make it zoomable?
It will pass the size check, but the zoom will only show a blurred enlargement — resizing up cannot create detail that the original photo does not contain. For real zoom quality, shoot or export at 1300 pixels or more.
What aspect ratio is 1300×1300?
1300×1300 has a square (1:1) aspect ratio. Any size with the same ratio — for example 1400×1400, 1200×1200 — can be scaled to it without cropping.
How big will a 1300×1300 image print?
At 300 DPI (photo quality) 1300×1300 prints at 4.33×4.33 inches (11×11 cm). At 150 DPI it covers 8.67×8.67 inches, fine for posters seen from further away.
How large is a 1300×1300 file?
A photo at 1300×1300 is usually 260 KB–530 KB as a JPG, and about 180 KB–370 KB as WebP. If you need it smaller, run it through the compressor afterwards.
Will my photo lose quality at 1300×1300?
No — a normal phone photo is much larger, so it is scaled down and stays sharp.
Can I resize to 1300×1300 without cropping?
Yes. Tick “Keep aspect ratio”: the whole picture is kept, but one side may come out shorter than 1300×1300. Without it, the image fills 1300×1300 exactly and the edges that do not fit the 1:1 shape are trimmed.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser. Nothing is transmitted or stored, and you can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
