Getting the Roblox clothing template right

Classic Roblox clothing is a flat 585×559 template that wraps around the avatar. The size must be exact.

📐

Exact size matters

Panels only line up at exactly 585×559.

⚠

Never crop

Use stretch or fit so the whole template stays.

🎨

Transparent PNG

See-through areas stay see-through in game.

Getting a clothing template accepted

Exactly 585×559. The classic clothing template maps flat panels onto the avatar — front, back, sides and arms. If your design was made larger, it must be scaled to exactly 585×559 or the panels will not line up.

Do not crop. Keep the whole template: tick the “stretch to the exact size” or fit option so nothing is cut. Cropping shifts every panel and the shirt will look wrong in game.

PNG with transparency. Transparent areas stay see-through on the avatar. This page saves PNG to keep them.
