Sharing camera-roll photos on Snapchat
Camera roll photos get bars. Photos taken outside Snapchat are usually 3:4, so Snapchat either zooms in or shows bands. Resizing to 1080×1920 first lets you choose the crop yourself.
Top and bottom are covered. Your name and the time sit at the top of a Story, and the reply and action buttons at the bottom. Keep text and faces at least 150 pixels from both ends.
Light files. Image Snaps should stay under 5 MB; a 1080×1920 JPG is normally a few hundred KB.
