What is a WebP file?
WebP stands for Web Picture format. WebP was built by Google specifically for the web. It can compress either lossily or losslessly, supports transparency, and is typically 25 to 35 percent smaller than JPG at matching visual quality.
Some older desktop software and a few printing services still do not accept WebP.
What is a PDF file?
PDF stands for Portable Document Format. PDF is a document format rather than an image format. It keeps its layout identically on every device, which is why it is the standard for anything that will be printed, emailed or filed.
A PDF is heavier than a plain image and cannot be edited as easily.

Will I lose transparency converting WebP to PDF?
Yes — PDF cannot store transparent pixels, so any transparent area has to be filled with a solid colour. This tool fills with white, which is what most people expect. Many converters fill with black and leave you with dark edges. If you need to keep transparency, convert to PNG, WebP or AVIF instead.
Is there a limit on file size or how many files I can convert?
No. Conversion runs inside your browser rather than on a server, so there is no upload, no queue and no cap. Very large images may simply take a moment on a slower device.
Are my WebP files uploaded anywhere?
